WALNUT, CA – Councilmember Bob Pacheco announced the endorsement of the respected Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC) in support of his campaign for the Walnut CIty Council. RPLAC is a volunteer organization, is part of the California Republican Party, and is the official Republican Party Organization in Los Angeles County. The County is comprised of 24 Assembly Districts each of which has an Assembly District Central Committee that is elected by Republican Voters every 4 years during the Presidential Primary Election.

“The Republican Party of Los Angeles County wishes you the best in your campaign and looks forward to working with you as a Republican local elected official in years to come.” said RPLAC Chairman.

Bob moved to Walnut with his family in 1985. Mayor Bill Choctaw asked him to serve on his Mayor’s Advisory Council. He served as a Walnut Planning Commission and in 1995 was elected to the Walnut City Council. In 1998 he was elected to the California State Assembly, the first person from Walnut to serve in the State Legislature. He was appointed by President Bush to serve on the United States Naval Academy Board of Visitors. He served as an appellate member of the Cal-OSHA Board of Appeals and as a Senior Advisory for jobs and workforce development to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
